ORCID-Synchronisation
This journal offers you the possibility to synchronize your own articles published in this journal with ORCID in the form of metadata (information on title, author(s), URL, DOI, etc.).
To use the ORCID functionality, a one-time authentication and authorization in ORCID is required. This can be done during registration or later in the personal profile (create and link ORCID iD). This step grants BieJournals the read and write permissions required to synchronize the publications. The data transmitted by ORCID - ORCID iD and authorization token - are permanently stored in the BieJournals database so that re-authentication and authorization in ORCID is not necessary.
Submission of Manuscripts
By submitting an article, you agree that the article - after completion of the review process and if it is accepted by the editorial team - will be published under the CC BY license. By submitting an article, you also agree to receive notifications - some of them automated - in the system and/or by e-mail to inform you about the submission process. During the submission process, it is also possible to send messages/emails via the system.
Bielefeld University supports the scientific policy demand for open access to scientific publications. In this sense, all published articles are presented as freely accessible and can be accessed without technical barriers.
In order to achieve a wide distribution and visibility of the published articles, publication-related data (metadata of the published articles) are freely available for reuse via established interfaces (e.g. OAI-PMH) and published articles can be indexed by search engines. The transfer of metadata of published articles to the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the PKP index and other specialist databases serves the same purpose. To assign unique identifiers (DOI = Digital Object Identifier), the metadata is forwarded to the registration agency DataCite. Published articles are forwarded to the German National Library (DNBG) as part of the obligation to submit online publications in accordance with §§ 15 ff. DNBG to the German National Library (DNB) or made available for collection.
The following personal data is displayed publicly in connection with the publication of articles:
- Namen der AutorInnen
- ggf. Institution
- ggf. Kontaktdaten
- ggf. ORCID-ID
- ggf. Lebenslauf
